Human Bodies - Luxembourg

In this anatomical exhibition, a vast and scientifically valuable collection of educational anatomical exhibits is presented. This includes real preserved human bodies, skeletons, limbs, organs, and organ blocks that convey medical knowledge and unique impressions to interested visitors.

The bodies, body parts, and organs come from body donors and are permanently preserved through the technique known as plastination.

Special attention is given to the theme of cancer and tumors: various types of tumors and tumor specimens are displayed and explained. The exhibition offers detailed explanations, multimedia presentations, and educational panels on general and specific topics related to the human body. The main themes include the skeleton and musculoskeletal system, the brain and nervous system, the genital organs, the heart and blood vessels, the kidneys and urinary tract, the digestive system, the senses, the respiratory tract, and the lungs.

Out of respect for the deceased and the purpose of body donation, all bodies and organs are presented only in medical poses. The focus is primarily on the transmission of knowledge through genuine human exhibits, presented in a thorough and detailed manner.
